Thank you for your interest in the Durham Girls’ Choir. Below you will find information
pertaining to both our junior choir and senior choir registration dates.
Junior Choir – Open Registration
Throughout July and August 2008 by emailing durhamgirlschoir@sympatico.ca
• The annual membership fee is $275.00 due at time of registration.
• The cost includes the Spring Banquet Awards Evening.
Additional Commitment:
• Purchase of concert uniform approx. $25.00
• Purchase of four adult tickets ($12 ea) per concert (2 concerts per year)
• Participation in two mandatory fundraisers - 80.00 per fundraiser
(cost can be offset by the selling raffle tickets)
Senior Choir – Auditioned *
Date: Monday, September 8th, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

or call Lynn Barre at 904-404-9227 to arrange an appointment.
• The annual membership fee is $390 with $100 due at time of audition.
If your daughter is not accepted into the choir, your cheque will be returned to you.
The cost does include the Spring Banquet Awards Evening.
Additional Commitment:
• Fall camp weekend fee - $100 - $150 (depending on new fee schedule from camp)
• Purchase of concert uniform dress – price will vary depending on amount of fabric used and whether a seamstress is required.
• Purchase of four adult tickets ($12 ea) per concert (2 concerts per year)
• Participation in two mandatory fundraisers - $80.00 per fundraiser
(cost can be offset by the selling of raffle tickets)
• Participation in the Tour Growth Fund $200 per year
(the senior choir tours abroad every three years)
In order to assist with the cost of the senior choir, we allow payments
to spread over a six month period.
* All fees noted for the senior choir are based on 2007/2008 fees,
some slight changes may apply.
